Museo Urbano Museo Urbano opens new intellectual doors for understanding El Pasos historical roots and cultural legacies. A display of traditional herbs is another addition to the museums treasure trove, and spacious space is devoted to the story of curandera Teresita Urrea, the well-known healer, spiritualist and participation activist of the early 20th century. The museum counts with a wonderful earful of new stories about the Segundo Barrio of the 1920s and 1930s. Inspired by the museum, local anaesthetic youth have painted murals on the walls surrounding the building. Museo Urbano besides offers books for sale on subjects like the Mexican Revolution and the calo twit born in the streets of El Paso.
