We are cognizant that your Bank is making adequate preparation for the changed regulatory simulation under Basel II. CRAB would like to extend its professional utilitys to your Bank in this regard. Bangladesh bank has chosen the standardized climax for calculating risk of infection-weighted assets against credit risk of the Banks. For this purpose the credit order is to be determined on the basis of risk indite assessed by the away Credit Assessment Institutions (ECAI). Banks will do the ratings of the ECAIs and corresponding risk weight for calculating RWA for credit risk under the standardized approach.

You will be pleased to know that Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Ltd. (CRAB) has been accredited as an External Credit Assessment Institution (ECAI) by Bangladesh Bank.

We offer our work for the ratings of bank loans and bank clients.



Under the service, CRAB, provides initial rating of the selected exposures and/or clients (or prospective clients) and also provides regular rating surveillance.

We have envelop a proposal for this service for the clients referred by the Bank at a privileged rate. We would request that we sign a MoU for providing this service to your clients.
