The Last Kiss

The film begins with Michael having dinner with Jenna parents and announcing that she is pregnant. Immediately we sense that Michael loves his girlfriend besides has a problem with committing to marry someone. The second kind we moderate about is the relationship between Jennas parents. Her m otherwise Anna intrusts that her hubby Stephen does non love her anymore and she is desperately seeking his affection. Her husband does not express his love for her in anyway what so ever. Izzy whos long-time girl latterly broke up with him is having a difficult time pawing with the situation by refusing to believe the relationship. Kenny is the only bachelor left. He cannot or will not allow himself to commit to anyone or anything that resembles a relationship. Chris and his wife Lisa who recently became parents, constantly argue. Chris feels trapped and decides to leave his wife. Then theres our main face Michael who has been in a relationship with Jenna for three years. He watches other relationship around him and cannot seem to find anyone whose relationship has lasted long-term than five years. He is consumed with the thought that this is the final stage of his life sentence and that everything is so planned out and nothing is a ramp any more.



Michael deals with his feelings by move to add some tempestuousness in his life. He chooses the route of infidelity. When Jenna discovers that he has cheated on her she leaves him. He finally realizes that Jenna is the only one for him and spends the rest of the film trying to win her back. The movie exhibits many philosophies of relationship progress. Relationships progress with definite stages from attraction to relationship development, to intimacy and/or deterioration, and disintegration (Sole, 2011). Out of these relationships the one that troubled me the most was the interpersonal relationship between Chris and his wife Lisa due to the fact that they did not deal with their problems at all.
