robin hood

I am investigating a margin call do by the Nottingham Visitor Centre. It states Visitors to Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre argon left in no doubt that this was the home of the outlaw. To catch out the reliability I will look at contrastive aspects of this claim.

I visited the Centre and I started off looking at their information boards. I learnt many things including the supposed chapel robin redbreast Hood was married in and the traditional festivals around the condemnation. The bureau it is presented, you would think it was fact and people are non condition indication otherwise. Also the few quotes they have, fail to back up their claims because they are all from stories and poems which are unreliable sources. This is for two of import reasons. Firstly very few people wrote around the time robin redbreast Hood apparently lived.. The other problem is that because its a story or poem, people will make up things to entertain people and make it more interesting. So the robin redbreast Hood stories are definitely not all original and while they do give some facts like information about May Day, they have very little to do with robin redbreast Hood.

I also saw a pack while I was there. However it had nothing to do with robin redbreast Hood. It was factual but it told me all about the surrounding battlefield and a legend from Robin Hoods time.

So again the claim is looking shaky because it is implications and irrelevant facts. There is no address evidence. I also saw the Great Oak that was cl years old and so tall they even give tongue to Robin Hood and his men hid in a oak channelise implying that this tree was it. However, if you check the evidence there are only one or two stories suggesting this. Also the tree would have been too small to hide in during Robin Hoods time. Their own article even states so if we believe that Robin Hood was around in the 11th or twelfth centuries, this tree could only have been a sapling. Therefore not only can the Centre not back up their own claims but in their article they even assure the dont really know what time Robin...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
