Thales of Miletus
Thales of Miletus was born in 624 BC, he was Greek, pre-Socratic philosopher from seven sages of Greece. He was regarded as first philosopher in the Greek tradition by Aristotle. He has d cardinal a lot of work in varied fields of sciences. He died on 546 BC.
He worked on developments in geometry that included right triangles and similar shapes. He was the first one to set forth hypothesis and defined general principles. A Greek philosopher named Democritus was born in 460 BC in Adbera, Thrace, Greece. He was a pupil of Leucippus and an influential pre-Socratic philosopher. He is credit of formulating the atomic theory for Universe. He died on 370 BC.
Democritus is cognize for his developments in bulk of cone, fraction and geometry.
