This action of greed then sparks into violence when Pap doesnt get what he was hoping for by getting drunk and do trouble, kidnapp ing Huck, and almost putting to death him. In wrath he government issues Huck in the woodland to a confine where Pap almost kills Huck. For several years Huck penalise his plan for escaping the cabin until one sunrise Huck complete the hole, escaped, and splashed a pigs blood on the cabin wall to make Pap believe that he was killed and then drug off.

Later in the novel Huckleberry finds a shipwreck, which he then goes closer to get look, when he overhears 2 robbers discussing their plans to kill Jim Turner, their accomplice, for snitching on them.
